today there was a “flash mob” set up by the seniors because it was their second to last day so they blasted the macarena over the loud speaker and did the dance in the main lobby but our headmaster knew about it so it wasn’t even funny but whilst walking past the elevator i found out why they really did this so called “flash mob”

I always see people praising this comic, and I can see why, the art is really great but… I can never get over how shitty and boring most of the female character designs are in comparison to the males.
FEMALE ANIMAL CHARACTERS AREN’T ALLOWED TO LOOK LIKE ANIMALS just tack animal ears and noses on generic, idealized human bases, that’ll work!!! (What kind of animal is the one at the bottom left even supposed to be…)
yeah that’s pretty much the problem i have with it. i’ve heard some good stuff about it but i just can’t get past the female character designs (main male character is pretty creepy lookin’ too). it’s even worse because they’re obviously skimping on the animal traits because they want them to be sexualized, but the mostly human look ends up being EXTREMELY CREEPY imo. i mean look at the two polar bears (i’m assuming that’s what the girl one is, hard to tell because of the bad design).
idk i just don’t dig the manimal look at all. :( Nor do I dig the “men are barely human, cartoony, and ‘ugly’, women are 99% human barbie dolls with tiny cosmetic accessories discretely added in a few locations” sexual dimorphism in fictional characters.

i really like how the male characters are stylised, but thats just it, isnt it? thats the problem with this art!
